Expertise in financial engineering

The continuing education advisers of the FORPRO PACA Network accompany companies in defining and financing their training projects.

Their knowledge of the schemes, regulations, resource players and co-financing systems ensures that you optimise the financing of the training you wish to implement.

For new employees (jobseeker status)

As part of the public procurement process, many of the FORPRO PACA Network's training courses are subsidised by the South Region, France Travail, local authorities and the European Social Fund. These courses are subject to special conditions. Contact Réseau FORPRO PACA for more information.

The Regional Council's training courses with ESF co-funding:

The Region affirms, through its Schéma Régional de Développement Economique, d'Innovation et d'Internationalisation and its Contrat de Plan Régional pour la Formation et l'Orientation Professionnelles, that vocational training is a factor in attractiveness and international influence.

In particular, the Region wishes to respond to several priority issues:

- Train for the jobs of tomorrow and anticipate the development of skills to meet the challenges of climate change or digital and demographic developments,

- Offer, in the territories, training adapted to meet the short and medium-term needs of companies and particularly those in strategic sectors (Operations of Regional Interest) which are: industry, defence, the energies of tomorrow, the marine economy, tourism and the cultural and creative industries, innovative therapies and the "silver economy". The sustainable construction sector is also a priority.

- Address the skills needs expressed as part of the Sud IA plan, the cyber roadmap and the Climate Plan.

- Preparing our region to meet major challenges: hosting the 2030 Olympic Games, decarbonising our industries - particularly in the Fos-Berre area -, strengthening our security and defence industries,

- Meeting the Region's own needs in the exercise of its compulsory responsibilities (transport, high schools in particular).

The ESF (European Social Fund) is Europe's main employment support mechanism: it intervenes to help people find better quality jobs and to offer fairer career prospects to all EU citizens. To do this, it invests in Europe's human capital: workers, young people and all jobseekers.

The ESF funds projects targeting the following priorities:

  • Adapting workers and businesses to economic change
  • Access to and return to employment
  • Social integration of disadvantaged people and combating discrimination in employment
  • Improving education and training systems
  • Promoting partnerships and strengthening the capacity of public services, social partners and NGOs to provide access to the labour market
.

The training actions financed by Region SUD are 50% co-financed by the European Social Fund+ (ESF+), as part of the 2021-2027 Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur ESF+ regional programme.

Les Actions de Formation Conventionnées par France Travail (AFC):
L'action de formation conventionnée représente l'opportunité d'amener les connaissances et compétences des demandeurs d'emploi au niveau demandé par le marché du travail, en termes de:

  • savoir faire (savoir faire techniques, langues étrangères, etc.)
  • diplomas, particularly for certain activities (home help, regulated professions, etc.).

The agreed training action takes place in a training centre. It is based on a need for recruitment and qualifications identified by companies with job potential.
The target groups are jobseekers, whether or not they are entitled to benefits.

The training is provided in a training centre.

When the existing funding schemes (those of the local authorities, the OPCAs, etc.) are unable to pay for your training project, either partially or in full, you may be eligible for an Aide individuelle à la formation (AIF) which will contribute to the funding of the educational costs of your training.

You should contact your France Travail adviser, who will validate your project with regard to the content, educational costs and duration of the training course, as well as its effectiveness in helping you return to work.

France Travail can offer jobseekers and their future employers training aids such as the POE (operational preparation for employment) or the AFPR (training action prior to recruitment). These training schemes enable people to acquire the professional qualifications and skills they need for the job in question.
