At the end of their training, cleanliness maintenance and renovation operatives will be able to:

- organise their worksite (preparation of products, equipment and installations)

- carry out maintenance and renovation services for different types of floor coverings, hard, plastic, textiles in particular.

- adapt services to the spaces and conditions of intervention,

- interact positively with customers/users,


Skill block 1: implementing the relationship with users/customers to guarantee the smooth running of the cleaning site

Checking the appearance of the outfit and equipment

Introducing oneself and engaging in effective dialogue with the user/customer, ensuring the quality and efficiency of the exchange.

Informing them of the nature and constraints of the work to be carried out and explaining the progress of the operations and the precautions to be taken at the end of the operations.

Recording any requests or complaints from the user, those to be dealt with at his/her level and those to be passed on orally to his/her hierarchy according to the established procedure

Identifying potential needs for exceptional work or specific work, advising the customer.

Skill block 2: Technical preparation of the cleaning site

Preparing the workstation in accordance with the specifications, taking into account the site, adapting the protocol and working times to the requirements of the site .

Choose the appropriate equipment and accessories

Choose products according to the surface, the location and the nature and degree of soiling

Check the availability and installation of safety devices (opening/closing, alarms), products, materials and equipment required for the job

Prepare, prepare and arrange his/her trolley, tools, materials and consumables in a rational manner

Protect the premises and property from possible damage

Apply service protocols and instructions (dress, hygiene, safety)

Choose and handle materials/products in accordance with the data in the technical data sheets

Skill block 3:Performing professional cleaning techniques

Performing manual and mechanised floor maintenance operations (textiles, plastics, parquet, tiles, ceramics, natural stone) using different methods and within the time allowed and limiting nuisance to users

Performing a polishing a spray method on a plastic covering

Dry or wet stripping and manually applying a protection

Remodelling a textile floor, mechanically and/or chemically renovate a natural stone floor and scrub a tiled floor

Wear specific PPE and adopt suitable gestures and postures

Self-control your work

Adapt your actions to the habits and uses of the customer.

Maintaining equipment, ensuring it is cleaned after use

Writing up monitoring media for operations carried out.
