Introduction to CSR and sustainable development

At the end of their training course, learners will be able to:

- Understand the concepts of sustainable development and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility).

- Identify and apply the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) relevant to their structure.

- Initiate and build your CSR approach

- Develop an action plan to integrate sustainable development practices into your working environment.

The course is made up of several modules:

Sustainable development and CSR

- Understanding the fundamental concepts: Defining sustainable development and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

- Drawing up an inventory of the current situation and the urgency of the changes to be put in place

- Understanding the company's role in these issues and its dependence on its ecosystem

- Understanding their importance in the professional context: regulatory panorama and advantages of a CSR approach

- Identify the pillars of sustainable development: Recognise and explain the three pillars of sustainable development: economic, social and environmental.

- Understand the fundamental principles of CSR and the 7 central questions

- Analyse CSR practices : Study concrete examples of the implementation of a CSR approach and understand how companies integrate these practices.

- Apply CSR principles: Develop strategies for integrating CSR principles into your professional activity.

Initiating your CSR approach and implementing your action plan

- Methodology for carrying out an initial diagnosis and identifying the issues

- Identifying stakeholders and their expectations

- Selecting strategic areas based on the issues identified

The eco-responsible approach

- Understanding eco-responsibility and understanding its importance in professional life.

- Understanding how to detect and assess the environmental impact of your company

- Presentation of the carbon footprint and eco-design - Recognising and adopting eco-gestures to reduce the ecological footprint.

- Understanding and identifying the impacts of your company on its stakeholders

Dialoguing with stakeholders

- Promoting the CSR approach: Developing strategies to promote the CSR approach within the organisation and with stakeholders.

- Integrating sustainable practices : Learn how to integrate sustainable practices into professional and personal activities.

- Raising awareness and training in CSR issues: Designing and implementing CSR awareness and training programmes for colleagues and stakeholders.
