BC02 - Organisational and operational preparation of the window cleaning site(s)
Plan the work according to the instructions of the hierarchy, taking into account work orders, weather conditions and geographical distances.
Carry out an inventory of the premises and surfaces to be cleaned
Select suitable materials, safety equipment and products
Secure the work area by demarcating the space with suitable signs and markings and set up the workstation
Ensure safety conditions before starting work by checking that all standards are met.
BC03 - Performing professional window cleaning techniques
Clean windows using the "French style" technique in accordance with hygiene, health and safety protocols to obtain a streak-free result.
Apply the "American style" and pole technique
Check the condition, install and use the PIRL applying the appropriate gestures while complying with safety instructions.
Remediate the work area after the operation
Maintain the equipment after each operation
BC04 - Install and use rolling scaffolding to carry out window cleaning work at height
Check the condition of the rolling scaffolding by validating the regulatory compliance report
Install and dismantle the scaffolding following the manufacturer's instructions and wearing the appropriate protective equipment.
BC05 - Installation and use of a mobile elevating work platform (MEWP)
Check the MEWP in accordance with the Periodic General Checks (PGC)
Prepare the MEWP by inspecting the work area and checking weather conditions and fuel or battery levels.
Position the MEWP and move around in compliance with safety instructions
BC06 - Installation and operation of a suspended aerial platform for carrying out window cleaning work
Check the condition of the suspended aerial platform
Move around using the suspended aerial platform, complying with safety rules and using emergency devices if necessary.
