On completion of the course, holders of Skills Module 2 will be able to:
BC02 - Take account of events in a person’s working life when processing payroll
The training course leading to the Payroll Manager qualification is organised into several skill modules, allowing for step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.
BC02 - Taking professional life events into account in payroll
Candidates may therefore validate the first module through accreditation of prior learning (VAE) or by undertaking further training:
BC01 - - Carry out the administrative and legal management of, and prepare, payslips
Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning to each individual’s needs.
The work placement also enables professional skills to be developed in a real-world setting.
Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the training programme.
Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, simulations and collaborative activities enable learning in conditions that closely resemble the real working world.

For this Skills Module, which forms part of the Professional Qualification, ongoing assessments (ECF) are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.
The final examination takes place before a two-member assessment panel comprising professionals from the sector. It comprises a professional role-play exercise and an interview based on the professional portfolio (DP), which highlights the experience and skills developed by the candidate.
The examination board either validates or rejects the skills module, which is valid for a period of 5 years.
During the final assessment of the Professional Qualification, the examination board validates all or part of the Professional Qualification. In the event of partial validation, the professional competence certificates (CCP) (or competence blocks) obtained are valid for a period of 5 years.
The candidate may also, within five years, complete the missing blocks and, by accumulating these blocks, sit the final interview to obtain the Professional Qualification in its entirety.
