QualiTEAM : favoriser la mobilité longue des apprentis en Europe

The QualiTEAM project is led by a European consortium comprising partners from four countries: France, Italy, Greece and Romania.

This consortium brings together vocational training organisations, educational institutions, organisations specialising in supporting European mobility, research bodies, and experts in educational and digital innovation.

Together, the partners are working to create a European model for long-term mobility for apprentices, capable of meeting the needs of young people, training centres and host companies.

The main objective of the project is to make international mobility more accessible, safer and better recognised, so that a greater number of apprentices can benefit from professional experience abroad.

The QualiTEAM consortium is committed to developing several key areas:

• Identifying barriers and best practices relating to long-term mobility for apprentices in Europe;
• Developing tools and procedures to facilitate the organisation and management of international mobility;
• Strengthening the recognition of skills acquired abroad through European certification schemes;
• Create a European network of training organisations and companies committed to hosting apprentices on mobility schemes;
• Disseminate the project’s results to encourage the adoption of these practices across Europe.

These actions help to enhance the appeal of apprenticeships and develop the professional and intercultural skills of young Europeans.

Development of a European framework for long-term mobility

The project aims to analyse existing practices in the various partner countries in order to identify the obstacles faced by apprentices, companies and training centres. This analysis will enable the development of recommendations and common tools to facilitate the implementation of long-term mobility.

Pilot scheme for international apprentice mobility

QualiTEAM supports the implementation of placements lasting several months in companies in partner countries. These pilot schemes enable the tools developed by the consortium to be tested and their impact on apprentices, training organisations and employers to be assessed.

Recognition and validation of acquired skills

The project is developing mechanisms for recognising skills acquired through mobility, notably through the use of Europass Mobility and digital micro-certifications. These tools enable apprentices to showcase the technical, linguistic and intercultural skills acquired abroad more easily.

In conclusion, the QualiTEAM project is an ambitious European initiative aimed at making long-term mobility for apprentices an opportunity accessible to as many people as possible. By strengthening cooperation between stakeholders in vocational training and the business world, the project helps to build a European apprenticeship area that is more open, more inclusive and better suited to the challenges of tomorrow’s labour market.

Thanks to the tools, methods and partnerships developed as part of the project, QualiTEAM will facilitate apprentices’ long-term access to an international experience that is recognised and valued throughout their career path.
