O2R in Aix-en-Provence and INTER'VAL in Vaucluse are two local versions of the same innovative solidarity project, run by a consortium of committed players. Their mission? To encourage people who are furthest from the world of work to return to employment and training, by providing individualised, immersive and caring support.
The idea is to reconnect with oneself, to (re)get a taste for action, identify anddevelop skills and life skills that are useful in all areas of life.
Identify, remobilise, support: the pathway is designed as a gradual, seamless journey. Each person benefits from individualised support and a pace adapted to their abilities at the time.
After an initial phase of identification and shared diagnosis, remobilisation starts part-time, then increases in intensity depending on the beneficiary's availability. The entire programme can last 6 to 9 months, or even up to a year, depending on the individual's need for security.
The programme adapts to the individual's pace, with permanent entry and exit points.
Each stage is co-constructed, with clear objectives, appropriate tools, and close monitoring. At the heart of this approach: a multidisciplinary team (integration advisers, specialised educators, psychologists, social mediators, sports coaches...) that acts on all levels - professional, personal, social - to remove peripheral obstacles, restore confidence, and build a realistic and motivating project.
The scheme is aimed at people who are furthest from employment: young people on the margins of society, isolated women, senior citizens, residents of disadvantaged urban and rural areas, people in precarious situations or with disabilities. Each pathway is tailored to the needs of each individual, with a view to inclusion and long-term remobilisation.
These pathways come to life in immersive, open and stimulating spaces, veritable third places dedicated to integration. In Aix-en-Provence and the Vaucluse, beneficiaries discover warm, participative places where it's good to learn, exchange ideas and rebuild their lives.
There are a variety of educational workshops: refresher courses in French or digital skills, job discovery, work on career plans, but also artistic, sporting or well-being activities. The idea is to reconnect with oneself, to (re)acquire a taste for action, and to develop skills and know-how useful in all areas of life.
