INTERGREEN : Accompagner les municipalités vers un avenir plus vert

Launched in September 2022 for a period of 30 months, INTERGREEN brings together six European partners committed to ecological transition and vocational training: the GIP FIPAN (coordinator), CIAPE (Italy), Eco Logic (Northern Macedonia), Municipio de Lousada (Portugal), Kentro DIAS (Greece), Synthesis (Cyprus).

The project aims to train and inspire municipalities in partner countries to adopt more sustainable solutions and respond effectively to local environmental issues.

It also supports the lifelong learning of municipal staff by providing them with appropriate resources to develop their skills in the field of sustainable development.

INTERGREEN provides free resources accessible in six languages (English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Greek and Macedonian), specially designed to support municipalities in their ecological transition:

• An online training programme, to deepen understanding of sustainability principles and prepare for active participation in municipal green initiatives. It includes four modules and awards an Open Badge "Sustainability Ambassador":
• Module 1: Sustainable development
• Module 2: Green skills
• Module 3: Case studies on the municipal environment
• Module 4: Peer training

• The GreenUP game, an interactive, fun experience for acquiring skills in ecological transition:
• A board game, encouraging exchange and collaboration between colleagues or friends
• A digital game, for learning solo and online

Throughout the project, more than 50 municipal employees were made aware of the challenges of sustainable development through test sessions of the educational tools developed, training workshops organised by the project partners in each country and international online meetings, bringing together all the participants.
