INTERGENDERACTION: Acting against intergenerational and gender conflict in the workplace

Co-funded by the European Union as part of the Erasmus + programme, the INTERGENDERACTION project aims to promote inclusion in the workplace by addressing the challenges of intergenerational and gender diversity.

Launched in October 2024 for a duration of 24 months, the INTERGENDERACTION project brings together six European partners: the GIP FIPAN (coordinator), ANTARES (Italy), Poderio Training and Research and Foro de Empresarias y profesionales de Cordoba (Spain), Proportional Message (Portugal), Versli mama (Lithuania).

The project aims to challenge stereotypes, promote gender equality, combat age and gender discrimination and foster harmonious intergenerational cooperation in the workplace. More specifically, the initiative aims to bridge the gaps and reduce the tensions associated with the growing presence of young, autonomous women in leadership positions in traditionally conservative working environments.

  • The results of a survey conducted among 200 managers and team leaders in partner countries, to better understand the current challenges.
  • A brochure on the six main areas affecting intergenerational and gender conflict in business.
  • A self-assessment tool destined for managers and team leaders to measure their ability to manage these issues.
  • Training modules in the form of podcasts, addressing key themes for better diversity management.
  • Video testimonials from professionals on good practice to adopt.
  • An e-learning toolkit with practical resources based on microlearning.

In addition, several workshops and promotional events will be organised throughout the project, specifically aimed at managers and team leaders, to raise their awareness of diversity and inclusion issues.
