InterBITS2

The InterBITS2 project is based on a Franco-Italian partnership between higher education institutions and innovation centres. It aims to meet the challenges of professional integration and sustainable development by training qualified technicians in key sectors such as the circular economy and sustainable tourism. These areas are essential for supporting the ecological and digital transitions in the cross-border labour market.

A project that aims to

• Develop technical and cross-disciplinary skills in line with the needs of the cross-border labour market.
• Foster professional mobility and academic exchanges between France and Italy.
• Strengthen cooperation between higher education institutions and companies in the two countries.

InterBITS2 is developing three main strands:

• Circular economy: a curriculum of more than 100 hours for 40 students, with theoretical training and practical experience.

• Sustainable tourism: implementation of a cross-border programme for 90 students.

• Integrated modules: cross-disciplinary sessions for 170 students, covering key skills in sustainable development.

Transnational cooperation for greater employability

InterBITS2 promotes professional integration through cross-border work placements for 20 students, enabling them to acquire expertise tailored to the needs of the European labour market.

The project is led by the Fondation ITS in partnership with Aix Marseille Université - IUT d'Aix-Marseille, GRETA Côte d'Azur, EnviPark and GIP FIPAN.
