Higher Technician in Systems and Networks

On completion of their training, systems and networks technicians will be able to take part in the commissioning and maintenance in operational condition of IT infrastructure. They will intervene effectively on systems and networks, on the hardware and software elements that make up the infrastructure in order to offer users, employees or customers the expected level of service and assistance.

He will be able to contribute to the development of users' skills for better use of the software, terminals and collaborative tools that he will be responsible for synchronising.

He will be able to diagnose and resolve malfunctions relating to systems, networks and IP telephony and will be able to restore access to shared resources and applications.

He will be able to administer the various environments of externally hosted services at the same time as keeping a technological and regulatory watch to provide new solutions and improvements.

Working for a cloud service provider, software publisher or hosting provider, you will be able to operate servers, commission them and put applications into production.

You will be able to work effectively as part of a team and be a reliable contact for partners, technical experts and suppliers.

BC01 - Operate infrastructure elements and provide user support

Operate Windows servers and an ActiveDirectory domain
Operate Linux servers
Operate an IP network

BC02 -. Maintain the infrastructure and contribute to its development and security

Maintain servers in a virtualised infrastructure
Automate tasks using scripts
Maintain and secure internet access and network interconnections
Set up, ensure and test backups and restores of infrastructure elements
Operate and maintain desktop deployment services
