At the end of their training, holders of the Industrial Maintenance Technician Vocational Qualification will be able to carry out all the technical, administrative and management actions designed to maintain an asset or restore it so that it can perform its required function during its life cycle.
He will thus be able to:
- perform technical interventions on multi-technology industrial installations in an operating context by carrying out preventive maintenance operations aimed at preventing the occurrence of a fault, corrective maintenance operations aimed at restoring the initial functioning of a faulty machine and predictive maintenance (or predictive) operations consisting of analysing the operating parameters of an installation with the aim of detecting drifts and anomalies.
- organise and manage maintenance to ensure that it is implemented and monitored in line with the company's strategy.
- suggest technical and organisational improvements and seek performance gains: identify, study and implement projects to improve the reliability, maintainability, availability and safety of assets.
- work effectively as part of a team and in collaboration with the production department, but also with the design office, methods office and purchasing departments.The course is organised into several skill modules, allowing for step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.
BC01 - Carrying out maintenance on electromechanical and automation components in industrial installations
BC02 - Carry out maintenance on the mechanical and hydraulic components of industrial installations
BC03 - Organise and manage the maintenance of industrial installations
BC04 -Plan and carry out an improvement maintenance project
Throughout the course, students receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning to each individual’s needs.
A work placement also enables learners to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.
Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

For this professional qualification, ongoing assessments (ECF) are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.
The final examination takes place before a two-member examination panel comprising professionals from the sector. It comprises a professional role-play and an interview based on the professional portfolio (DP), which highlights the experience and skills developed by the candidate.
The final examination takes place within two months of the end of the training course.
The examination panel validates all or part of the Professional Qualification. In the event of partial validation, the professional competence certificates (CCP) (or competence modules) obtained are valid for a period of five years.
The candidate may subsequently complete the missing modules to obtain the Professional Qualification in its entirety.
