Building Quantity Surveyor Technician vocational qualification

The building quantity surveyor technician works in a building company.

The objectives of the training are:

• Know how to carry out quantity surveys of works from 2D plans or a digital mock-up
• Know how to define the price study with disbursements, detailing the costs in material, materials and labour
• Know how to calculate the selling prices of the works and draw up the estimated bill of quantities
• Define the specifications for invitations to tender with suppliers or subcontractors in order to obtain the technical and financial information needed to draw up your offer
• Know how to determine the technical procedures and organisation of the site
• Master the procedures for checking the technical and regulatory compliance of your proposals

The Métreur vocational qualification consists of two standard activities, each standard activity corresponding to a certificate of professional competence (CCP).

To validate the qualification, the candidate must obtain the two Certificates of Professional Competence that make it up:

CCP - 01. Quantity surveying a building project processed using BIM or conventional methods

Complete the quantity surveying of a building project using 2D plans or a digital mock-up

Establish the survey and description of an existing building

Check that the building project complies with standards and regulations

CCP - 02. Carrying out a price study for a building project using BIM or conventional methods

Proposing the organisation of a construction site

Carrying out a quantity survey for a building project using 2D plans or a digital model

Consulting suppliers or subcontractors for a building project

Calculating the cost price of a building project

• Professional qualification from the Ministry of Labour Level 4 (Baccalauréat, BP, BT)
