Local IT Technician vocational qualification (formerly TP IT Assistance Technician)

The TP local IT technician (formerly TP IT support technician) has expanded, now covering a variety of areas, such as user support, incident management, IT infrastructure maintenance, as well as the management and security of digital equipment. This development is accompanied by an increase in skills, particularly in constantly evolving technical areas such as cyber security, but also in areas such as communication, and supporting users in the face of technological change.

Exercise in private sector companies, an administration or an ESN (digital services company), working on site or in a service centre.

The holder of this professional qualification will be able to progress to  a position as an IT asset manager, system administrator or network expert.

They may also choose to continue their studies with a level 5 course such as a TP senior systems and networks technician or a BTS (CIEL OR SIO).
