Professional qualification: Installation Technician in Climatic Comfort Equipment

The climatic comfort equipment installation technician checks and adapts the Technical Execution File (DTE) for a heating, sanitary, air renewal or thermodynamic installation on the basis of observations made on site before work begins.

The main objectives of the course are:

• Be able to identify the technical information needed to carry out the project on the DTE plans.
• Determine where equipment is to be installed and how it is to be carried out.
• Make working sketches, check and establish the quantities of work to be carried out.
• Adapt the list of equipment and components making up the installations.
• Transmit this information to your manager for site supply.

The TIECC vocational qualification - Climatic comfort equipment installation technician - is made up of three standard activities, each corresponding to a certificate of professional competence (CCP).

CCP 1 - Adapting and organising the installation of heating, sanitary, air renewal and thermodynamic equipment in residential and tertiary premises

- Checking and adapting the Technical Implementation File for a heating, sanitary, air renewal and thermodynamic installation in residential and tertiary premises on site before work.

- Organise a heating, sanitary, air renewal and thermodynamic equipment worksite in residential and tertiary premises

CCP2 - Install and prepare for the commissioning of heating, sanitary, and air renewal equipment, in residential and tertiary premises

- Install and connect heating equipment in residential and tertiary premises

- Install and connect sanitary equipment in residential and tertiary premises

- Install and connect air renewal equipment in residential and tertiary premises

- Prepare for the commissioning of heating, sanitary and air renewal equipment in residential and tertiary premises

CCP 3 - Install and ensure the commissioning of thermodynamic equipment in residential and tertiary premises

- Install and connect thermodynamic equipment in residential and tertiary premises

- Commission thermodynamic equipment in residential and tertiary premises

• Professional qualification from the Ministry of Labour Level 4 (Baccalauréat, BP, BT)
