The tourism accommodation manager is responsible for the overall management of a tourist accommodation site, whilst ensuring that quality, profitability and customer satisfaction objectives are met.

Upon completion of the training, the candidate will be able to carry out the following tasks:

- ensure that services are delivered, and that they meet the required standards of quality and appeal, whilst upholding the promise made to the customer and the establishment’s CSR policy.

- supervise teams and optimise the financial and quality performance of the various departments.

- ensure the safety of guests, staff and property, and implement risk prevention measures within the establishment. 

- Manage permanent, seasonal or temporary staff in accordance with legal and contractual requirements.

- Lead teams to create a dynamic working environment, engage staff and build loyalty by promoting skills development and collective performance. 

- Develop the marketing strategy for the establishment and oversee the implementation of initiatives aimed at optimising occupancy rates or revenue, increasing upselling and enhancing the establishment’s reputation. 

- Help promote the establishment using communication tools, including digital ones, by engaging with the local network and safeguarding the establishment’s reputation on social media.

- Manage budgets; monitor expenses, occupancy rates and accommodation sales on a day-to-day basis, as well as revenue from ancillary sales; prepare data for dashboards; analyse results and key performance indicators; and implement corrective actions.


The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical application and assessment sessions to promote hands-on, progressive learning.

RNCP42020BC02 - Manage teams and organise human resources within a tourism establishment

- Recruit and induct staff in French and English
- Oversee the establishment’s management policy and develop the individual and collective performance of teams
- Carry out the administrative management of human resources

RNCP42020BC03 - Optimise sales and ancillary services at a tourism establishment using a multi-channel approach

- Develop and optimise the marketing of offers
- Promote a tourist establishment and its offers in French and English

RNCP42020BC04 - Manage the operational running of a tourist establishment and plan its investments

- Manage the operating budget and ensure profitability
- Plan investments and their financing as part of a sustainable development approach

Throughout the course, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning experience to each individual’s needs.

The work placement also enables students to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, industry-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learning in conditions that closely resemble the real-world workplace.

For this professional qualification, in-training assessments (ECF) are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.

The final examination takes place before a two-member panel comprising professionals from the sector. It comprises a professional role-play and an interview based on the professional portfolio (DP), which highlights the experience and skills developed by the candidate.

The final examination takes place within two months of the end of the training course.

The examination board validates all or part of the Professional Qualification. In the event of partial validation, the certificates of professional competence (CCP) (or competence blocks) obtained are valid for a period of 5 years.

The candidate may subsequently complete the missing blocks to obtain the Professional Qualification in its entirety.
