Warehouse Order Preparer vocational qualification

At the end of their training, professional warehouse order pickers will be able to:

- Safely drive category 1A pedestrian-controlled industrial trucks.

- Prepare and pack orders using various techniques

- Load and unload road vehicles from a dock and dispatch goods

- Identify, report and correct anomalies in the warehouse

- Integrate the principles of sustainable development into their work

They will also have acquired the skills that will enable them to work effectively in a team in compliance with the required health, safety, security and protection rules.

A single Certificate of Professional Competence (CCP 1) Prepare, pack and dispatch orders using a category 1A ride-on truck

- select handling media and supplies appropriately

- manually pick products from stock by breaking down and distributing batches and products

-. put together balanced and stable packages and/or palletised loads with the required identification

- enter and validate data data relating to product picks and movements via fixed, terminals linked to the warehouse management system

- move pallets of products or other containers in the warehouse using a forklift

- load and unload lorries or trailers from a dock in accordance with the loading plan

- check the quantity and quality of goods and their carriers or containers

- identify anomalies and malfunctions, correct them within the scope of his/her responsibilities or alert the people concerned
