The aims of the training are to enable the professional to:
Prepare and organise a plumbing, heating and air renewal job based on plans, technical documents and instructions.
Install, connect and commission sanitary equipment, domestic hot water production and all-energy heating.
Place and connect heat emitters (radiators, underfloor heating) and pipework networks.
Install and connect air renewal systems (ventilation, ducts, vents, extractors).
Perform the checks, tests, rinsing and de-silting operations required for the installations to work properly.
Apply safety, risk prevention and environmental protection rules.
Ensure the quality, regulatory compliance and cleanliness of the worksite.
Communicate effectively with teams, the site manager and customers.
The course is organised into several skill modules, allowing for step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.
BC01 – Installing plumbing systems in residential buildings
- Install a sanitary fixture
- Install domestic hot water production equipment
- Install air ventilation equipment
BC02 – Install a heating system in residential buildings
Sustainable development issues are addressed throughout the course: ensure, during work, that the energy performance of buildings is not compromised (airtightness), recommend the installation of water-saving devices and the regular maintenance of equipment to optimise its operation and lifespan, ensure the sorting and traceability of waste and recover recyclable materials, and carry out adaptations for people with reduced mobility.
Throughout the course, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning to each individual’s needs.
A work placement also enables students to develop their professional skills in a real-world setting.
Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.
Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learning in conditions that closely resemble the real-world workplace.
