The holder of this professional qualification is able to:

- ensure the installation, commissioning and maintenance of split-system and DRV direct expansion air conditioning equipment

- carry out the installation

- commission split-system air conditioners

- prepare DRV equipment for the manufacturer's technician who will commission them

- inform his customer of the use and precautions for use

- carry out level 2 preventive and corrective maintenance on this equipment

The tasks carried out on or in the environment require the Air Conditioning Repair Fitter, designated by his employer and after analysis, to apply electrical safety regulations. As a result, he will be authorised by his employer according to the nature of the operations, the environment, the voltage range and the level of responsibility defined.

The air conditioning repairer fitter vocational qualification is made up of three typical activities, each typical activity comprising the skills required to carry it out. Each standard activity corresponds to a certificate of professional competence (CCP).

CCP 1 - Install and commission single-user split-system air conditioning equipment.

CCP 2 - Install and prepare for commissioning multi-station DRV air conditioning equipment.

Install multi-station DRV air conditioning equipment.
Preparing the commissioning of DRV-type air conditioning multi-station equipment.

CCP 3 - Performing level 2 preventive and corrective maintenance on air conditioning equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance on air conditioning equipment.
Perform level 2 corrective maintenance on air conditioning equipment.

Total maximum duration of 1,034 hours, including 105 hours on the job and 929 hours at the training centre.

The air conditioning repair fitter mainly works in an SME-type company (air conditioning technicians, refrigeration technicians, heating technicians, electricians) or in a local office of a major in the maintenance of air conditioning equipment for tertiary and industrial buildings.
