At the end of the training course, the car maintenance mechanic will be able to:
- carry out all routine maintenance operations using a methodology, following the manufacturer's recommendations and taking account of the indications on the work sheets.
- carry out the replacement of mechanical elements and components of the ground connection, transmission and power train.
- intervene on the vehicle to replace the mechanical components of the visibility and signalling systems or to fit directly connectable accessories.
- operate on any type of vehicle for transporting nine people or less and for transporting goods weighing less than 3.5 tonnes, vehicles powered mainly by internal combustion engines.
- apply the rules of hygiene, safety, health protection at work and respect for the environment.

- electrical accreditation in accordance with standard NF C 18-550.
- an authorisation to handle refrigerants, in family 2 category V
- outside training, a driving licence, category B, to move vehicles from pick-up to drop-off.
