Professional qualification: Automated Plant and Machine Operator - (TP CIMA)

The operator works alone or as part of a team, on automated plant and machinery, whether or not integrated into a production line. production line.

All the actions they carry out contribute to obtaining production that complies with quality, costs and deadlines, while complying with the health, environmental and safety standards defined by the company. They work independently, under the responsibility of their direct line manager. They report to him/her on their activities and inform him/her of any incidents. Tasks are usually performed standing up, with frequent movements around the installation, or even to the various storage warehouses. Depending on the sector, safety and/or cleaning equipment must be worn. Its own responsibility is limited to the strict application of instructions and procedures.

The main objectives of the training are to prepare the professional for the following situations:

• production preparation
• setting up the installation
• production start-up
• running the installation with replenishments.

The CIMA vocational qualification consists of two Certificat de Compétences Professionnelles (CCP):

CCP 1. PREPARE, START UP AND SHUT DOWN AN AUTOMATED PRODUCTION INSTALLATION EQUIPPED WITH OR WITHOUT ROBOTS.

• Prepare and supply the workstation and peripheral equipment.
• Start, ramp up and shut down a production installation.
• Propose technical or organisational improvements in a production sector.

CCP 2. TO OPERATE AN AUTOMATED PRODUCTION PLANT EQUIPPED OR NOT EQUIPPED WITH ROBOTS

• To carry out production operations
• To control the products manufactured
• To carry out first-level maintenance and cleaning operations on a production plant
• To propose technical or organisational improvements in a production sector.

• Professional qualification from the Ministry of Labour Level 3 (CAP)

• All audiences

The job may require you to be able to drive a forklift or stacker. handling equipment such as stackers or forklift trucks. CACES-type certification is appreciated for the job.

In some companies, electrical clearance for non-electrician B0 is sometimes also required to hold the job. In all cases, GRETA-CFA can offer you training leading to these certifications.
