- collect, check and record all the commercial, social and tax documents needed to keep the accounts in compliance with regulations and the chart of accounts.
- check, justify and rectify the accounts for all current operations.
- collect the elements required to calculate the payroll each month, ensure that they are taken into account when drawing up pay slips and prepare the employee's administrative documents.
- draw up the VAT return and carry out the digital return, present a management chart according to the needs of the decision-maker.
- prepare the elements required to draw up the annual summary documents (income statement and balance sheet and determine the regularisations at the end of the accounting period and the annual closing operations.
- master and use a digital and dematerialised environment and use dedicated applications offered by integrated commercial and accounting management software.
- follow regulatory developments and carry out regular accounting monitoring.
The course is organised into several skill modules, allowing for step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.

Equivalences and progression pathways: to be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the candidate’s background: Following a Professional Certificate in Assistant Accountancy (a state-recognised professional qualification, generally Level 4 – equivalent to the baccalaureate), several career paths or progression options are available. Direct entry into the workforce: The qualification provides access to roles such as: Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper, Administrative and Accounting Assistant, Accounting Clerk, and Management Assistant in SMEs. Further study in accounting and management: It is possible to progress to higher-level qualifications: BTS in Accounting and Management (BTS CG) Professional qualification in Accounting and Tax Management (baccalaureate + 3 years) DUT / BUT in Business and Public Administration Management (GEA), subject to application review Bachelor’s degree in accounting or management at certain institutions. Other related courses Depending on career plans: Vocational Training Certificate (TP) in Payroll Management; BTS in SME Management; courses in administration or management. For this professional qualification, ongoing assessments (ECF) are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.
The final examination takes place before a two-member examination panel comprising professionals from the sector. It comprises a professional role-play and an interview based on the professional portfolio (DP), which highlights the experience and skills developed by the candidate.
The final examination takes place within two months of the end of the training course.
The examination panel validates all or part of the Professional Qualification. In the event of partial validation, the professional competence certificates (CCP) (or competence modules) obtained are valid for a period of five years.
The candidate may subsequently complete the missing modules to obtain the Professional Qualification in its entirety.
