Acquire the technical, organisational and managerial skills required of a structural works site manager:

In its technical and organisational functions,

- use the site file, draw up work schedules and scheduling documents.

- finalise execution methods by integrating requirements (equipment, materials, labour) and safety measures (individual and collective) by adopting an environmental approach.

- coordinate the interfaces between the various trades

- arrange for the site to be set up, lay out all the works and monitor production

In managerial roles,

- supervise teams as well as internal and external communication

- set instructions, delegate implementation and unite teams around the proposed organisation.

- manage contingencies, enforce regulations (safety, environment...) and quality procedures.

- act as a relay with management, lead the work of production teams based on the company's CSR approach.


The course is organised into several skill modules, allowing for step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote hands-on, progressive learning.

BC01 – Managing and coordinating a structural works site

  •  Extract the information required to carry out the works from the site file.
  •  Draw up the structural works schedules for the site.
  •  Arrange for the site to be set up.
  •  Plan supplies and place orders for the site.

BC02 - Supervise structural works

  •  Set out and mark the site’s structures.
  •  Carry out quantitative and qualitative checks on site production.
  •  Draw up operating procedures for structural works.

BC03 - Manage structural works production teams

  •  Supervise production teams.
  •  Manage external and internal communication.

Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning to each individual’s needs.

A work placement also enables participants to develop their professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learning in conditions that closely resemble the real working world.


  • Professional qualification from the Ministry of Labour Level 5

Maximum total duration of 1,070 hours, including 140 hours in a company and 930 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

  • All audiences

- either have a minimum level of Brevet de Technicien, Bac Professionnel, Bac Technique, or Titre Professionnel from the Ministry of Employment in the specialities of Building, Civil Engineering, Public Works, followed by at least 2 years' site experience.

- or have at least 3 years' professional experience as an Assistant Site Manager for Major Works or a Major Works Team Leader.

For this professional qualification, ongoing assessments (ECF) are organised throughout the course to evaluate the candidate’s progress and their mastery of professional skills.

The final examination takes place before a two-member examination panel comprising professionals from the sector. It comprises a professional role-play and an interview based on the professional portfolio (DP), which highlights the experience and skills developed by the candidate.

The final examination takes place within two months of the end of the training course.

The examination panel validates all or part of the Professional Qualification. In the event of partial validation, the professional competence certificates (CCP) (or competence modules) obtained are valid for a period of five years.

The candidate may subsequently complete the missing modules to obtain the Professional Qualification in its entirety.
