On completion of their training, holders of the vocational qualification will be able to receive, dispatch, store and retrieve goods by driving category 3 and 5 forklift trucks in safety.
The holder will then be able, in compliance with the company's own safety and operating rules, to:
- check the suitability of the category 3 or 5 forklift truck for the task in hand and initiate first-level maintenance;
- receive and dispatch goods with a category 3 forklift truck;
- store, destock goods and restock storage locations with a category 5 forklift truck;
- identify, report and correct anomalies in the warehouse

Module Check the suitability of the truck for the handling operation to be carried out
- Choose the appropriate handling equipment.
- Choose the right equipment for the handling equipment depending on the operations to be carried out.
Module Perform, alone and in relay, Handling operations with a self-propelled, rider-driven materials handling truck in compliance with quality and safety rules
- Move loads in the warehouse and on outside development areas using a self-propelled, rider-driven materials handling truck
- Pick up and put away load supports in the designated locations using a self-propelled, rider-driven materials handling truck
- Perform safe storage and retrieval operations with a self-propelled, rider-operated industrial truck
- Perform all relay operations with a self-propelled, rider-operated industrial truck
- Assess safe driving of self-propelled, rider-operated industrial trucks
