The Technician specialising in advanced maintenance is an intermediate manager in industrial maintenance, between the senior technician and the engineer.
His area of expertise is the maintenance and improvement of production equipment (safety, availability, reliability, maintainability) in connection with the factory of the future and emerging technologies.
With the aim of improving the company's performance, his role is to help develop the company's maintenance and continuous improvement policy, provide technical and methodological expertise, integrate digital factory tools and contribute to the company's quality, safety and environment policy.
On completion of the course, the Technician specialising in advanced maintenance will be able to:
BC01 - Organisation of the surveillance and monitoring of equipment on a production line or island
Measure and analyse the technical parameters and/or performance indicators of equipment on a production line or island with a view to operational safety (safety, availability, reliability, maintainability)
Assess the risks and impacts associated with equipment drift on a production line or island (quality, safety, productivity, environment)
Diagnose the cause(s) of equipment drift or malfunction on a production line or island
Define maintenance improvement methods or technical solutions acting in the areas of: safety, availability, reliability, maintainability
BC02 - Managing the implementation of maintenance methods or solutions
Coordinating actions to maintain in operational conditions or improve equipment on a production line or island in conjunction with the maintenance function
Overseeing the economic monitoring of maintenance activity on equipment on a production line or island
BC03 - Managing the communication of equipment maintenance activity on a production line or island
Chairing a working or monitoring meeting on equipment maintenance activity on a production line or island
Guaranteeing traceability and reporting on equipment maintenance activity on a production line or island to line management

The technician specialising in advanced maintenance works in industrial companies in all sectors of activity producing goods or services, whatever the size of the company and the manufacturing processes (production lines, transformation processes, assembly/assembly, packaging, etc.).
He may work in the maintenance department of an industrial company, in a maintenance service provider company and also in the after-sales departments of manufacturers of production equipment.
