Brazing and Soldering

The objectives are specified according to your production requirements:

• implementing the assembly process
• carrying out brazing and soldering assemblies on piping and tapping in all positions
• preparing for a welder's qualification
• carrying out work on different grades of material (copper, steel, galvanised steel...)

• Ongoing assessment by the trainer of the practical exercises carried out by the participant: analysis of the quality of the assemblies (visual inspection of soldering and brazing, macroscopies, bending, etc.) and corrective actions.
• Personalised and individualised training
• Commented practical demonstrations
• Technological presentations illustrated by audiovisual means

Based on the participants' prior learning and the training objectives, each participant will progress at his or her own pace in the following educational progression:

TECHNOLOGY TRAINING: History, principle and application of the process; Equipment and products; Gases and gaseous mixtures used; Brazing and soldering mechanisms: flux, filler metals, torch adjustment, preparation of parts, brazing and soldering method, defects in brazing and soldering, means of control, health and safety.

PRATICAL TRAINING: Technological reminder; Adjusting torches; Performing brazing and soldering; Socket brazing copper tubes; Soldering galvanised steel, copper, steel tubes and tappings, etc. Checking brazing and soldering operations

Ongoing assessment by means of practical work carried out by the trainee

Analysis of the quality of assemblies and corrective action

Technological presentations illustrated by multimedia resources

EN-certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers
