The aim of the training is to acquire and/or perfect the technical skills needed to work as a hotel receptionist.
At the end of the course, the trainee will be able to work in a hotel:
- Welcoming customers in French or English, responding to all potential customer requests
- Operations relating to the departure or arrival of the customer
- Managing invoicing, collection and the cash float
- Taking charge of reservations in French or English using specific reservation software
- Administrative follow-up of operations relating to accommodation
Module 1: Pre-requisite basic knowledge
- Customer relations, typology of establishments, hotel procedures
- Office automation
- Hotel reservation software
Module 2: Greeting customers at hotel reception, in French or English, taking into account their specific needs
- Greeting and looking after a customer at reception
- Responding to reservation requests
- Using hotel software
Module 3: Handling guest arrivals and departures
- Handling guest arrivals and departures in French and English
- Managing the promotion and communication of the establishment and its services - Handling cashier operations.
- Checking, validating and closing daily activity data.
- Passing on information and instructions to the various hotel departments
Terminale Bac level
Sufficient knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written (CEFR A2 level)
Good presentation
1st experience in the hotel/restaurant industry preferred
Good motivation to do this job
