The training will enable participants to:
Reminder of the French Labour Code L 231-3-1 : all heads of establishments are required to organise practical and appropriate safety training for the benefit of the workers they hire.
Recall recommendation R 232-12-20: this instruction indicates the extinguishing and emergency equipment located in the premises or its surroundings. It designates the personnel responsible for putting this equipment into action. It indicates that any person who notices the start of a fire must sound the alarm and activate the first aid equipment, without waiting for the arrival of specially designated personnel.
Morning: Presentation to employees of the components making up the fire safety system specific to their establishment.
NB: beforehand a technical visit is carried out by an authorised trainer. The trainer takes photos of the premises' fire installations and creates a visual communication medium. This medium is used during the morning information session to make employees aware of the various elements that make up their fire safety system.
Afternoon : Employees are given theoretical and practical training in handling fire extinguishers. They actually handle water, carbon dioxide and powder extinguishers (if the exercise is carried out outdoors).
