The course enables students to acquire the knowledge and methodologies needed to sit the competitive examination and develop the following skills:
- put themselves in the situation of selection tests
- apprehend the written test
- master the techniques of written and oral expression
- strengthen their knowledge of professions in the educational and social sector, major health and social issues and current affairs, and acquire the skills needed to analyse current affairs and social policies
- prepare for the oral examination
- define their training and career plans by getting to know themselves and their chosen profession better
- reflect on their motivations and expectations
- compare their perceptions of the profession and training with the reality in the field and project themselves into their future profession.
-Written and oral methodology: short questions, text analyses, summaries, text commentaries, dissertations, document summaries
-General culture and social themes: social policies and key social phenomena, current events in society
-Interview methodology/Communication: basics of communication and mistakes to avoid
-Psychotechnical tests: work on memory and logic (tests of verbal skills, logical reasoning skills, numerical skills)
Group test situations, illustrations, and analysis of the exercise and self-corrections.
-Baccalauréat or DAEU or
-Diplôme d'état de travail social ou paramédical sanctionant une formation professionnelle de deux ans
EN-certified teachers, trainers with 3 years of higher education and significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers
