The aim of this course is to provide an initial level of basic knowledge in the fields of reception, assistance and 1st level advice, basic training in basic office software and level 1 Beginner English.

It enables students to acquire the knowledge they need to be able to access training leading to a qualification, such as the BAC PRO Services Accueil / Assistance conseil, which enables them to take up a position as a receptionist. (Subject to an interview with the educational team).

The general aim of this course is above all to raise awareness of the behaviour and skills expected when taking up a position in this field.


  • Module 1 (34 hours)
  • Key skills workshop dominated by French
  • Written and oral expression- Communication based on concrete professional cases.
  • Module 2 (30 hours)
  • Key skills workshop dominated by mathematics
  • Practical mathematical logic exercises.
  • Module 3 (56 hours)
  • Pack office/Internet training
  • Computer workstation training, Windows, Pack office
  • The trainees' course will be individualised.
  • Module 4 (80 hours)Beginner level English training Acquisition and/or revision of basic grammar and everyday vocabulary for professional use.
  • Module 5 (126 hours) Training in professional areas - Customer and/or public relations - Marketing the service and/or dealing with the public
  • Module 6 (24 hours) Job and/or work placement search techniques
  • Module 7 (105 hours)
  • Work placement in a company

  • Certification of prior learning
Maximum total duration of 455 hours, including 105 hours on the job.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

  • All audiences

All people aged between 16 and 25 primarily but adults are also targeted. People with a low level of qualification expressing a professional project in the reception/service/counselling sector in the broadest sense but who do not have the prerequisites to join a training course leading to a qualification such as a vocational baccalaureate in business or a vocational baccalaureate in reception services.

Trainers with at least 3 years' higher education and significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers.

Interview and positioning following the collective information 15/03/2011 10am at the Marie Mauron college an application pack will be given to people.
