The training covers the acquisition of the following professional skills:
- Identify the main phases of the psychomotor, physical, emotional and intellectual development of young children in order to better identify their needs and respond to them appropriately, i.e. :
- Knowing the stages of the child's development (motor and psychological)
- Ensuring and guiding the child in hygiene, grooming and entertainment
- Knowing and respecting the child's life rhythms: sleeping, eating
- Spotting and reacting to the child's particular behaviours.
- The fundamental needs of infants and young children (food, sleep, hygiene, relationships,)
- The basic concepts of the child's physical, psychomotor, emotional and intellectual development
- The different rhythms of the child's life (sleep, meals, play)
- The phases of learning (language, autonomy, cleanliness, sexuality)
- Games and activities
- The conditions favouring socialisation and the development of autonomy
- Particular behaviours (aggression, violence, isolation, )
- Childcare.
