Rotating machinery mechanic

The objectives of the training will enable the mechanic to acquire the skills to:

• carry out a maintenance operation on a mechanical assembly in an organised manner
• read a mechanical plan (pump, gearbox, lubrication schedule, maintenance schedule).
• Use a catalogue of bearing choices
• Make and interpret measurements of mechanical components
• Ensure that the equipment is correctly adjusted
• Make simple mechanical parts
• Use standard tools as well as specific tools (bearing extractors, etc.)

The training programme consists of 4 modules

MODULE 1: Basic mechanical concepts

MODULE 2: Metrology

MODULE 3: Assembly processes and simple mechanical manufacturing operations

MODULE 4: Corrective work on mechanical equipment

MODULE 5: Study of mechanical drawings and 3D modelling

The course is aimed at anyone interested in industrial mechanics as a first experience or wishing to brush up their knowledge and skills.
