Technical computing for building and civil engineering - MAO / AUTOCAD 2D/3D

The aim of the training is to give the jobseekers concerned sufficient mastery of the digital tools and functionalities required to use AutoCAD computer-aided drafting and design software in two and three dimensions for the creation, use or maintenance of digital mock-ups.

This training enables them to work in design and drafting offices and architects' practices, in coordination with the designers of construction projects (architects, methods engineers, project owners, etc.).

Integration period : Welcome, presentation of training objectives, familiarisation with the professional environment, awareness of sustainable development, adaptation of training path

Module 1  2-Dimensional Drawing / Getting to know  the working tool and defining a drawing sheet / Learning basic drawing commands / Using a graphics printer or plotter / Organising a drawing by using several layers and associating properties such as colour, line type and line thickness / Additional drawing commands - construction - modification / Dressing up a drawing, inserting text, dimensioning, hatching / Using multi-lines or double lines; Using the polyline./ Creating and using blocks, template drawings/ Setting up AutoCAD.

Module 2  Drawing in 3 Dimensions The basics of drawing in 3 dimensions (3D surface) / Drawing surface objects in 3 dimensions / Multi-windowing in AutoCAD / 3D volume drawing

Module 3  Creation and maintenance of digital mock-ups / Concept and tools for scalable digital mock-ups / Surfaces and mathematics / Geometric modelling / 3D processing / Assembly management / Image synthesis / Project management assistance / Organisation of technical services / Maintenance of digital mock-ups

Module 4   Project management - Integration of variants into the digital mock-up / Development of animation and interaction elements / Project management review / Operational management of the digital mock-up
