Job background: The course is aimed at people who wish to acquire the skills of a draughtsman for the construction and public works or industrial sectors. Draughtsmen work in a wide range of fields. The activity is carried out in a design office or within a company.

The main objective of the training is to learn the CAD software most widely used on the market, in companies, design offices, architectural firms.

By way of example, the software targeted in the training is : AUTOCAD for building and civil engineering SOLIDWORKS for boiler making, mechanics, building and civil engineering, etc.

From initiation to in-depth training, the course covers the basic functions and then the advanced concepts that will enable in-depth knowledge of the software.

CAD software: Designing a volume model (creation and modification methodologies).

Understand the different concepts of modelling an assembly.

Making definition and assembly drawings from a 3D model. Autocad - Solidworks

• Module 1: 28 hours Review of general IT knowledge: office automation tools, graphics peripherals, Windows operating environment, computer networks, etc. Reminder of drawing: volumes, scales, lines, etc.
• Module 2: 150 hours AUTOCAD software, in 2 and 3 dimensions This module includes the "architecture" application of the 2017 version of AUTOCAD; practical work in building electricity, interior design, decoration, etc.
• Module 3: 75 hours SOLIDWORKS software, with practical work in boiler making, piping, sheet metal work, etc.
• Module 4: 30 hours 105-hour work placement Cross-disciplinary modules: reception, assessment, sustainable development and ERT: 12h

• Certification of prior learning

Total maximum duration of 395 hours, including 105 hours in a company and 290 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

• All audiences

Compulsory diploma: level IV to V . Fluency in French, basic numeracy.

Special requirements: be comfortable using IT tools and have knowledge of construction and/or industry or architecture. bea job seeker registered with Pôle Emploi or Mission Locale.
