Electrical engineering - The basics

Electrical engineering enables you to carry out:

• work on installing, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical equipment.
• work on teaching systems, electrical signage, alarms, lighting and socket systems, generating sets, automated home management (home automation) or communication networks (VDI).

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to:

• recognise an industrial electrical circuit
• carry out industrial wiring
• select industrial protection devices
• take measurements on industrial systems
• perform basic maintenance on high and low voltage electrical installations and equipment

Public concerned: Electromechanics, after-sales technicians, design office staff, and other professionals in the building, public works and industrial sectors for ancillary activities relating to electricity.

Theory - 21 hours : Laws of electricity; Protective devices; Transformer; motor; Electrical networks; Electrical diagrams

Practical work - 14 hours : In the workshop on systems, wiring, maintenance.

Mastery of elementary rules in Mathematics.
