The DSCG certifies that the holder has acquired the core skills required to carry out assignments in the field of management consultancy and to support organisations across all aspects of their operations
Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be able to carry out the following activities:
- Organising, as part of a team, the preparation of annual and/or consolidated financial statements in accordance with French and international standards;
- Advising on restructuring operations;
- Presenting annual accounts and reporting to senior management;
- Designing, implementing and improving the accounting and financial information systems of the accountancy firm’s client organisations;
- Contributing to the overall definition of corporate strategy and/or economic decisions for the accountancy firm’s client organisations, by producing management tools covering a variety of data (accounting, financial, non-financial, economic, legal) ;
- Supporting organisations in management practices that take into account the environmental dimension of their activities from a dual materiality perspective;
- Providing advice on tax, social, legal and governance matters to clients of the accountancy firm across all sectors (commercial, non-commercial, public);
- Implementing an organisation’s annual audit plan or supervising internal or external audit engagements;
- Managing cash flow, monitoring cash positions, verifying their accounting treatment and preparing cash flow forecasts in accordance with financial ratios relating to debt, solvency and working capital;
- Drafting and presenting reports and documents, including in English, whilst adapting written and/or oral communication to the audience.
Certification based on the accumulation of skill modules + 16 weeks of work placements or significant professional experience, including a dissertation and oral defence.
The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.
Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning experience to each individual’s needs.
A work placement also enables learners to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.
Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Hold a DCG or another three-year post-A-level qualification in the field of ‘accounting/management’.
Exemptions from certain examination papers may be granted to holders of French diplomas or qualifications certifying higher education in the fields of law, accountancy, economics or management.

Continuing your studies: The DSCG is the sole entry point to the chartered accountant traineeship, which subsequently enables you to sit the examinations for the Chartered Accountant’s Diploma (DEC).
Opting for immediate entry into the workforce upon graduation. The DSCG prepares students for various careers in accounting, management, corporate finance, management control and human resources within different types of organisations (companies, associations, public authorities, etc.). Holders of the qualification may apply for positions such as junior auditor, chief accountant, project manager, administrative and financial director, management controller, treasury manager and accounting manager
