Digital film projection requires new functions and skills for the projectionist's job, who must be able to control projectors and programme screenings on computer.
This theoretical and practical training course should enable cinema exhibition professionals to acquire a new language and master the technical issues involved in programming and digital projection.
Cinema staff who are required to participate in digital screenings in one way or another can also take this module to get a better grasp of digital technology.

The digital cinema chain and learning digital technical language
- from shooting to projection
The different image formats and digital files
-the comparison between silver and digital image formats, the structure of a DCP, information transport, the weight of digital data
Introduction to the digital cinema exhibition network
-link protocols between different digital projection equipment, the role of a library, the different 3D cinema processes
The role of the TMS
-programming a screening with the TMS.
The final day of training is a practical module for setting up a screening session.
Participants in this training module must come from or be close to the film industry.
