In accordance with the Arrêté du 10 juin 2021 relative à la formation conduisant au diplôme d'État d'aide-soignant

Acquire the qualification to develop the following professional skills:
- Accompanying people and carrying out appropriate care in the activities of their daily and social life

- Assessing the clinical condition and implementing appropriate care in collaboration

- Establishing appropriate communication to inform and support the person and those around them, as well as informing and training peers, people in training and other professionals

- Use techniques for maintaining the person's immediate environment and equipment linked to activities, taking into account the place and situations of intervention

- Work in a multi-professional team and process information linked to care activities, quality/risk management

Theoretical training lasting 770 hours is organised into 10 modules:

Module 1 Accompanying a person in the activities of their daily and social life

Module 2 Identifying and preventing risk situations, implementing preventive actions

Module 3 Assessing a person's clinical condition and adapting their care

Module 4 Implementing adapted care, assessment and readjustment. Attestation de formation aux gestes et soins d'urgence - niveau 2

Module 5 Accompagnement de la mobilité de la personne aidée

Module 6 Relation et communication avec les personnes et leur entourage

Module 7 Accompagnement des personnes en formation et communication avec les pairs

Module 8 Entretien des locaux et des matériels et prévention des risques associés

Module 9 Traitement des informations

Module 10 Travail en équipe pluri professionnelle, quality and risk management

Learner support is based on three intervention methods:

  • Individualised Pedagogical Support (API): 35 h (in the first three months of training)
  • Individualised pedagogical monitoring of learners: 7 h (distributed throughout the training)
  • Guided personal work (TPG): 35 h (distributed within the various modules)

The clinical training of 770 hours, i.e. 22 weeks of 35 hours, is broken down into four periods in the workplace that must comply with the following durations:

  • period A of 5 weeks
  • period B of 5 weeks
  • period C of 5 weeks
  • period D of 7 weeks at the end of the training, an integrative period in a professional environment, corresponding to the professional project and/or allowing skills to be reinforced in order to validate all the blocks of skills.

At least one clinical period must be spent working with people with physical or mental disabilities and one with elderly people.


  • Diploma from the Ministry of Health Level 4 (Baccalauréat, BP, BT) (Certificate of training in emergency techniques and care - level 2)

Maximum total duration of 1,540 hours, including 770 hours in a company and 770 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

  • All audiences

- Be at least 17 years old on the date of entry to the training course.

- No diploma condition is required

- Satisfy the eligibility test

- Satisfy the vaccination requirements in force in health establishments

- Medical certificate of fitness to follow the DEAS from a doctor approved by the ARS

Monitoring and individualisation

The Disability Advisors support the teaching teams to facilitate the inclusion of trainees with disabilities and help to build a personalised training pathway, by proposing adaptations based on the needs expressed by the individual. Partnerships with specialised players can be called upon to provide support, secure the training pathway and promote professional integration

Admission based on application + interview before jury


In accordance with the Decree of 7 April 2020 relating to the terms and conditions of admission to training courses leading to State nursing aid diplomas, the course is accessible on the basis of a portfolio and an interview before a panel of judges.

Deadline for application submission: 7 November 2024 for the start of the academic year in January 2025
