DCG - Diploma in Accounting and Management

• Prepare, thanks to a multi-disciplinary "licence" level training, for the different professions in accounting, management, corporate finance, management control, human resources within different types of organisations (companies, associations, public authorities...) ,

• Acquire the skills of each Block making up the certification:
  • Block 1: Analyse current legal acts relating to an organisation's activity
  • Block 2: Legally analyse the corporate framework of an economic activity
  • Block 3: Follow up client files relating to employment law
  • Block 4: Assist a client with tax matters
  • Block 5: Keeping the day-to-day accounts of an organisation with a view to drawing up summary documents
  • Block 6: Analysing accounting choices for assets and liabilities
  • Block 7: Designing the tools needed to monitor the business with a view to improving its performance
  • Block 8: Conducting a financial analysis of an economic activity
  • Block 9: Organising the structure and processing of information within an organisation
  • Block 10: Analysing the economic environment of a company
  • Block 11: Identifying current management issues for all organisations
  • Block 12: Communicating in a professional context
  • Block 13: Written communication in English

• Focus 2: Accounting and financial management:

o UE 6 Corporate finance,

o UE 9 Accounting,

o UE 10 In-depth accounting,

o UE 11 Management control.

• Focus 3: Economic and managerial analysis:

o UE 5 Contemporary economics,

o UE 7 Management.

• Focus 4: Communication and the digital environment:

o UE 8 Information and management systems,

o UE 12 Business English,

o UE 13 Professional communication,

o UE 14 Modern foreign language (optional).

Validation covers 13 UEs in accordance with the reference framework spread over 3 years. We build our individualised and personalised courses following the results of the regulatory and educational positioning. 8 weeks of work experience or significant experience in a public accounting firm or in the accounting and financial departments of a company, public authority or association are compulsory to obtain certification.

Depending on the site, this course is offered in 2 years after validation or reduction of certain UEs, in particular: 1, 5, 8, 9, 12 and 13, and/or the award of a French diploma or level 5 qualification attesting to higher studies in law, accounting, economics or management.

• All audiences

This training can be offered, depending on the sites, over 3 years for holders of a level 4 diploma or over 2 years for trainees who have validated prior learning in relation to the content of the DCG. For example, the UE offered in the 1st year, or those who have obtained a BTS in accountancy and management, a DUT or BUT in business management and administration (GEA) with an option in accountancy and finance, or a professional degree in accountancy, law, management or organisational management, which give rise to exemptions from the exams.

Prepare for the DSCG ( Diplôme supérieur de comptabilité et de gestion) or go on to a master's degree in the field of accounting as well as management.

Access the professions of Associate in an accountancy firm, Company Accountant, Management Controller, Cash Manager, Associate within a human resources department or within an auditing firm.

• Careers: This diploma gives you access to positions of responsibility such as Accountant in a company or firm, Payroll Manager, Accounting Manager, Management Controller.

• Continuation of studies/passerelle: having passed the DCG diploma, candidates have the option of continuing their higher education with the Diplôme Supérieur de Comptabilité et Gestion (DSCG) at bac + 5 level, which itself opens the way to the Diplôme d'Expertise Comptable (DEC) at bac + 8 level, or moving on to university courses or business schools.
