The holder of this diploma is a mechanic specialising in aeronautics, and specifically in the maintenance of turbine-engined aircraft.
His activity falls within the scope of scheduled maintenance (minor visit, major visit, inspection) or troubleshooting. He or she masters fundamental notions of electricity and electronics, electronic systems, digital techniques, materials and accessories technology, maintenance methods and procedures, and aeronautical regulations. They will acquire a good knowledge of aerodynamics. They will assess faults and carry out repairs, as well as inspection and testing procedures.
As the professional context is international, fluency in English is essential.
In the Turbine Engine Aircraft option, training focuses on materials technology, maintenance practices for structures and equipment, turbines and propellers.In addition to preparation for the National Education diploma, the training prepares the candidate for the basic theoretical training certificate, Turbine Engine Aircraft option: TB1.1, issued by the PART 147 approved training centre
