Know how to carry out assembly and wiring operations on on-board electrical equipment in a subassembly or aircraft, strictly complying with the rules relating to the aeronautical sector.

• Make electrical, electromechanical or electronic assemblies
• Know how to read and understand drawings, manufacturing files and electrical diagrams
• Mount components and equipment on boards, chassis, panels and cabinets
• Prepare and shape the connections of different components. Cutting, soldering using various processes.
  

The training course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions in order to promote hands-on, progressive learning.

BC01 – Preparing for the installation of a wiring harness, a unit and/or rack, or a sub-assembly in the aircraft.

• Preparing the components required for the installation of a wiring harness, electrical sub-assemblies and/or fitments and/or a rack in the aircraft
• Preparing the equipment or sub-assemblies prior to fitting in the aircraft

BC02 – Installation or removal of a wiring harness, a unit and/or rack, or a sub-assembly in the aircraft

• Carry out the integration and routing of wiring harnesses within the aircraft
• Carry out metal cladding, crimping, torque tightening and protection
• Carry out connections and disconnections within the aircraft
• Protect and package wiring harnesses, equipment, sub-assemblies and their surroundings within the aircraft

Throughout the course, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning to each individual’s needs.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-play scenarios, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.
