CQP Sheet Metal Worker Specialist - Operational preparation for employment

The training enables students to acquire the skills needed to carry out work on removable and non-removable vehicle components, as well as reshaping bodywork components.

The aims of the course are:

• To master the technical activities involved in carrying out bodywork work
• To master straightening and welding techniques
• To know how to organise work

The program breaks down as follows:

A - Technical activities

• Replacement, fitting and adjustment of all types of components (removable / welded / glued / crimped)
• Completion of upholstery work required for bodywork operations (seats / various trims....)
• Remodelling bodywork components
• Replacing or repairing all types of glazing
• Replacing, adjusting and setting all types of welded, glued or crimped components
• Checking vehicle deformations / bringing structures back into line
• Renovating or rebuilding components due to a lack of available parts, identifying potentially dangerous products

B - Organisation of work

• Use of technical documentation,
• Arrangement and maintenance of workstation/tools,
• Application of quality procedures in force in the company.

• Certificate of professional qualification (CQP)

Positioning upstream of training entry.

Trainers with experience in individualised learning.

Teachers certified by the French Education Nationale, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult training, professional speakers.

Tests at the end of training (One-off assessment)

Positioning test and interview by appointment.

Present yourself with the liaison form from the prescriber (Mission locale, Pôle emploi...).

The holder of the CQP can work in companies involved in checking vehicle structure deformation, removing - refitting or replacing mechanical components, trim components, electrical and electronic components required to carry out the work.
