On completion of the course, the professional will be able to:
- install, maintain and troubleshoot heating and cooling installations.
- intervene on fixed heating or cooling appliances with a power rating ranging from 4 to 70 kW, installed on the floor or wall.
- initiate diagnostic procedures in compliance with the procedures defined in the "Règles de l'Art Grenelle Environnement 2012" (RAGE), the French Heat Pump Association (AFPAC), and the Syndicat National de la Maintenance et des Services en Efficacité Energétique (SYNASAV).
- inform the customer of the condition of their appliance, informing them of the risks to aim for optimum operation of the installation
- repair an air conditioner or heat pump following preventive maintenance after communicating a diagnosis and estimate to the customer
- advise the customer on the choice of a heat pump or air conditioner solution,
- plan and communicate the nature of the work and carry out the installation,
- act professionally in a sustainable development dynamic
- Check the tightness of a heat pump or air conditioner
- Carry out a preventive inspection of a heat pump or air conditioner
- Diagnose the malfunction of a heat pump or air conditioner
- Restart a heat pump or air conditioner

- Install and commission a heat pump or air conditioner solution
- Obtain the certificate of suitability for handling category 1 refrigerants issued by a certifying body (COPROTEC, DEKRA...), and electrical clearances and authorisation prior to its intervention on electrical installations relating to intervention types B2V, BC and BR, in compliance with the Health-Safety-Environment regulations and rules in force.
