To combine the skills and knowledge required for maintenance and service on the floors of a hotel: To apply floor techniques: tidying up rooms (untouched or recoated), washrooms, restocking reception products and linen, checking the condition of equipment and reporting anomalies - Applying the most common cleaning techniques, correctly using and storing cleaning products, checking that equipment is working properly - Checking the condition of linen and preparing for it to be sent to the laundry - Serving breakfast in the dining room: setting up the dining room, welcoming customers, supplying food during the service, clearing away tables and dishes - Serving breakfast in the room: preparing and checking that trays comply with the order (content, timetable), clearing away trays. - Applying the rules of hospitality, communication and behaviour: applying the rules of good manners, communicating accurately and courteously, complying with instructions and service charts - Complying with health and safety instructions.
BC01 - Provide breakfast service in the dining room or in the room
Prepare the various breakfast areas (including seminar room) in compliance with hygiene and health safety rules and in order to comply with the establishment's quality standards
Welcome the customer in the dining room, complying with the establishment's welcome procedure, to optimise the customer experience
Serve breakfast in the room, by respecting the customer's choices, in order to satisfy the customer
Tending the areas dedicated to breakfast by cleaning them throughout the service, and restocking the buffet in order to maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the place
Tidying up the areas dedicated to breakfast at the end of the service, by clearing away the buffet, the crockery, the equipment used, in compliance with hygiene and safety rules, with a view to reusing them for other activities
BC02 - Carry out the maintenance of the establishment's rooms and premises
Maintain the rooms in compliance with hygiene, safety and comfort rules to guarantee the guest's comfort
Maintain the public, specific and private areas of the establishment, complying with hygiene, safety and comfort rules, in order to ensure the cleanliness and attractiveness of the establishment
Assuring the follow-up of maintenance services, by respecting the customer's comfort, taking their wishes and requests into account, in order to promote the image of the establishment
To maintain the storage office, by putting away the linen, the various products, the cleaning and cleaning equipment according to the defined organisation, and preparing the floor trolley in order to facilitate cleaning operations in the establishment
Processing dirty linen and waste following cleaning, in an eco-responsible manner, in order to contribute to the establishment's sustainable development policy
