- Considering appropriate responses to the behaviour of patients and their identified disorders
- Mastering the principles of verbal and non-verbal communication and acquiring appropriate behaviour
- Understanding precisely the needs of the person and those of family carers
- Identifying the impact of the disease on carers and supporting them professionally.

- Alzheimer's disease and related disorders: diagnosis, associated disorders, evolution

- Supporting the person suffering from dementia: aid relationship

- The context of intervention: identifying significant parameters, necessary adaptation according to these parameters

- Working with the family

- The person's right, respect for values, the family context.
