Understanding the mechanisms of a public procurement contract: Role play - In partnership with ENTE

This role-play simulation of a public procurement contract will enable learners to:

• discover public procurement in a simple, practical way
• acquire the basic knowledge and reflexes of public procurement management
• place themselves in the position of a contract player throughout the public procurement procedure

Role play based on a concrete case selected: the reconstruction of a railway bridge and rectification of the alignment of a trunk road in the Alps.

As project owner, project manager, contractor, subcontractor, health and safety coordinator, learners are required to raise problems to which they must find answers in the contract documents and regulations available to them.

• Questions/answers on the general provisions of public contracts (½ day): - exchanges and debate on the questions previously formulated by the learners on public procurement
• Role play (1.5 days):- reading of the files provided- role-plays: two meetings (one bilateral and one tripartite) to share all the possible postures (6 players).- plenary meeting between players - formative feedback

Regulatory bases of public procurement (information level): having attended the one-day "Dispositions Générales des Marchés Publics" training course

or having equivalent knowledge.
