Communicating as part of a team and in a collaborative working environment

At the end of their training course, learners will be able to:

• Distinguish cooperative work from collaborative work.
• Adopt communication codes adapted to a collective environment (benevolence, transparency, listening).
• Use digital tools for synchronous/asynchronous sharing and communication.
• Contribute effectively to a group meeting or project by sharing information.

The training consists of several modules:

1: The challenges of collaborative working

• Launch : What is a "collaborative" team? (The 5Cs: Communication, Coordination, Cooperation, Trust, Creativity).
• Thematic : From pyramidal organisation to transversal organisation.

2: Methods and Tools

• Module 1 : Everyday tools (instant messaging, shared diaries, cloud storage).
• Module 2 : Information management: avoiding infobesity and knowing where to store what.
• Module 3: Asynchronous communication: how to write to be understood without being present.
• Module 4: The basics of project management in Agile mode (Kanban).

3: Practising working together

• Situational exercises: Solving a complex problem in sub-groups using a collaborative tool.
• Debriefing : Analysis of the flow of information and everyone's role.
• Evaluation: Final quiz on collaborative postures and tools.

The training takes place in person at the centre, which provides the ideal setting for building group dynamics, encouraging interactive discussions between trainees and making use of professional equipment.
