The aim is to acquire the following professional skills:
-Reformulate a calculation set out by someone else / Pass on their calculations or the calculations to be carried out / Use basic mathematical language.
- Taking ownership of a statement
- Structuring the different stages in solving the problem
- Using mathematical language appropriately
Communicating results orally and/or in writing.
Assessment criteria
- The reformulation of a calculation presented by someone else is appropriate and presents the different stages of this calculation by repeating the explanations given without interpreting or modifying.
- The calculations to be transmitted or carried out are returned orally in clear and precise language.
- Basic mathematical language is understood and used appropriately.

Reading, writing and arithmetic. The areas of skills acquired are validated during the prior assessment and are capitalised on with a view to the Socle de Connaissances et de Compétences Professionnelles certification. A period of 5 years is allowed between the prior assessment of the skills acquired and the appearance before the certification panel.
