Digital engineering project manager in industry

The Bachelor's degree in digital engineering project management in industry trains qualified technicians capable of mastering methods, tools and technologies for the engineering, implementation, management and improvement of production systems for goods or services in the context of the Industry of the Future.

At the end of the course, the graduate will be able to:

• Manage a digital engineering project
• Conduct a design study incorporating the digital chain
• Conduct pre-industrialisation and industrialisation studies
• Coordinate the creation of a virtual reality or augmented reality application
• Create and exploit 3D digitisation of an industrial product
• Improve an industrial system using dynamic simulation or a digital twin

BC01 - Managing a digital engineering project 

Collecting and disseminating all technical project information, both internally and externally, including in English – organisation, timetable, costs and resources – within a collaborative digital environment, whilst complying with regulatory requirements, social and environmental standards; defining and monitoring indicators to optimise project implementation; managing product lifecycle data within a PLM system.

BC02 – Leading a design study incorporating the digital supply chain 

Drafting of functional specifications, solution research, business quotations, design in a collaborative 3D environment, static and dynamic simulation, topological optimisation, rapid prototyping, data management within a PDM system, and preparation of working drawings.

BC03 – Leading pre-industrialisation and industrialisation studies 

Analysis of production resources, organisation of industrialisation phases within a production methods department, continuous improvement initiatives, optimisation of the industrialisation process using data, Data Science.

BC04 - Coordinating the creation of a virtual reality or augmented reality application 

Project review, immersive and/or augmented based on 3D design data, specifications and a scenario incorporating the expected interactivity, coordination of development and implementation.

BC05 - Carry out and utilise the 3D digitisation of an industrial product 

3D scanning, processing of a point cloud, meshing, reconstruction of a 3D surface model, three-dimensional inspection.

BC06 – Improving an industrial system through dynamic simulation or a digital twin 

Multiphysics simulation of a system or its digital twin, identification of physical phenomena, recommendations for design and the instrumentation chain with a view to improvement.
