SSIAP 3 certification

Acquire the certification required to work as a fire and personal assistance service manager.

- Fire and its consequences: principles of fire initiation and development, reaction and resistance to fire

- Fire safety and buildings: recognition of the typology and type of structure of a building, situation on an architect's plan, knowledge and use of the framework for analysing a construction or development project

- Fire regulations: sequencing of regulations, classification of buildings, accessibility regulations

- Risk management: risk analysis, safety work, administrative documents, checking and keeping the safety register

- Advising the headteacher: written and oral minutes, drafting reports, updating knowledge of legislation

- The role of the safety committee correspondent

- Managing the safety team: principles and management of personnel and resources, labour code, concepts of civil and criminal law

- The security department budget: drawing up budgets, purchasing function, management of maintenance contracts for security installations

- Assessment: written (MCQs and report writing) and oral (appearance before a jury).

Be a holder of the SSIAP 2 or ERP 2 or IGH 2 with 3 years' experience in the role

OR

A minimum level IV diploma (BP or Bac Pro security)

Be physically fit for the role

Professional trainers with 3 years' higher education and significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers
